About Me
Dr. Harvey completed her B.S. in Communication Disorders at Northern
Illinois University, M.A. in Community Counseling at Governors State
University, and PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at The
Pennsylvania State University. She is a
National Certified Counselor (since 2002) and a Licensed Professional
Counselor (since 2003).
She has 15 years experience in education and counseling
helping individuals meet their goals. Her past experience includes
working as a speech-language assistant/teacher in the Chicago and
Philadelphia Public School systems. In her work
as a counselor, Dr. Harvey has conducted academic, personal, and career
counseling with diverse clients as well as facilitated diversity
education training for faculty, staff, and students in higher
education.
